우리나라에서는 아마 <피서지에서 생긴 일>로 번역되어 상영되었지...
여주인공 '산드라 디'의 금발의 귀여운 얼굴과
남주인공 '트로이 도나휴'의 앳띠면서도 애수어린 잘 생긴 얼굴이 지금도 기억나고 있다.
이 영화의 사운드 트랙 'Theme from a Summer Place'는
당시 <빌보드 챠트>에 연속 9주 간 1위를 할 정도로 인기가 있었다.
지금도 여름만 되면 어김없이 이 노래가 흘러나오는 걸 보면
이 영화와 노래가 꽤나 우리의 마음 속에 파고들었던 모양이다.
